Where To Begin your DEM Studies? This way!

This article is intended to help you to evaluate whether DEM is fit for your needs, what are the criteria to choose a DEM software and provide some best practices and guidelines for optimally setting up a DEM case and executing it.

Over the past 50 years, the Discrete Element Method (DEM) has emerged as a powerful first principle simulation tool for a wide range of industries dealing with bulk particulate solids or granular media.

State-of-the-art DEM tools like Rocky DEM provide a unique platform for scientists and engineers to achieve enhanced process understanding by mapping the dynamic interplay of process, material, and geometric variables.

Subscribe to read the full article and learn the basic theory about DEM and how it might be useful in your application.
